The hosts hang on to their place in the tournament by the skin of their teeth.Roger Guerreiro put Poland in front on 30 minutes and Austria then played their hearts out to get a result. On 90 minutes their chance came. They were awarded a penalty for a pull in the box and Ivica Vastic stepped up to take it. He leveled the score and earned a well derved result for Austria.
