Brian Barwick to Resign as FA Chief Executive
Brian Barwick will soon be resigning from his post as chief executive of the English Football Association.Barwick came to this decision after his relationship with FA chairman Lord Triesman has deteriorated over continued disagreements. Barwick hopes that the work he has done throughout his time with the FA will be remembered including the opening of the new Wembley stadium and the new respect programme on trial this season. He has also played a big part in securing a £425 million TV deal for the FA which provides a massive part of the company’s funding.
