Barnsley may have been able to see off 2 of Englands elite in Chelsea & Liverpool but the semi final was to be their final battle. Cardiff score early but that was to be the only goal of the match.

West Brom 0-1 Portsmouth

Kanu fires Pompey into the 2008 FA Cup final. Portsmouth began the game as strong favourites but the first half was dominated by Ablbion. Portsmouth were forced to defend throughout and Westbrom had the majority of the posession. Harry Redknapp must have given his side some strong words during the break as the 2nd half was a different game. Portsmouth showed that they were the Premiership side and on 54 minutes Kanu scored the only goal of the match.
