Chelsea held at the Bridge on Monday night due to a 91st minute Heskey equaliser. With Manchester United 5 points clear and only 4 games to play, could the title race be all over or can Grant rally his team for one last push.
Chelsea began this match missing both Drogba and Lampard and with one eye on their Champions League campaign there was some hope for Wigan. As with all of the big 4 this weekend the first half ended goaless.
Michael Essien opened up the scoring with a superb strike just out side the Wigan area.
Tonight was not going to be Chelsea’s night however when in stoppage time Heskey connected perfectly with a floating cross over Chelsea’s 6 yard box.
