Fulham gave their performance of the season today showing that they deserve a spot in the English Premiership.The prospect of Fulham taking all three points at the City of Manchester Stadium look doubtful before kick off and was unthinkable when they went 2 goals behind. Fulham have won just one game away from home this season which happened recently against Reading.
Stephen Ireland and Benjani putting Manchester City 2-0 in front by half time. City held on to this lead for the majority of the match but on 70 minutes Diomansy Kamara got want back. On 79 minutes Fulham were awarded a penalty kick and Danny Murphy stepped up to try to earn his side a point. The penalty was missed but he hammered home the rebound.
A draw looked a fantastic achievement for Fulham but in the 90th minute they did the unthinkable. Diomansy Kamara burst down the left flank and sent a left footed drive firing past City keeper Hart and taking all 3 points.
Fulham showed real class today and that they deserve their place in the top flight.
