Spurs File Complaint Against Manchester United Over Berbatov
Tottenham Hotspur believe that Manchester United have broken Premier League rules in their pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov and are filing a complaint.Spurs officials have said that Manchester United have made advances towards the Bulgarian striker outside of the transfer window. Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy describes the actions of Manchester United as disgraceful and also refers to the club as hypocritical in filing a complaint against Real Madrid in their pursuit of Christiano Ronaldo.
Levy also expressed concerns over Liverpool’s movements towards Berbatov’s fellow striker Robbie Keane. But it was Sir Alex Ferguson’s public statement saying that an offer has been made and he is confident that a deal will be reached that really upset the Spurs chairman. He describes the two clubs as arrogant and has submitted a years worth of evidence to the Premiership.
