Spurs steal from Bolton to dash their survival hopes.

Spur have very little to play for this season as they are already safe from relegation. The 2008 FA Cup champions have nothing else to achieve this season.  The story is very different for relegation struggling Bolton who must get a result at White Hart Lane.

The first half was a lively start to the match with both sides having there chances in front of goal. Spurs were by far the strongest and deserved to go for the break infront. Bolton keeper Ali Al Habsi played well to keep his side in the game.

Just a minute into the second half against the flow of play Bolton put themselves in front with a goal from Stylianos Giannakopoulos. The win was in their sites and 3 points today would have really put pressure on the likes of Reading and Birmingham.

Their lead was short lived however when Robbie Keane’s shot deflected into the path of Steed Malbranque who tapped it in for the equaliser just 6 minutes later.

The second half was much the same as the first with complete dominance from from Tottenham. Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane both had numerous chances to claim victory but it was not to be.

 A point each at White Hart Lane sees Bolton just 1 point clear of the drop zone.

Final score Tottenham 1 Bolton 1.
