A late goal from Jeremie Aliadiere gives Borough all three points at the JJB.The Premiership looked a little dry of goals today. Three matches kicked of at 3:00pm and at half time their wasn’t a single goal across the board. Wigan looked the stronger force throughout and Middlesbrough were forced to give a good defensive display. Emile Hesky came close on numerous occasions and Borough keeper Ross Turnbull did well to deny him.
Against the run of play with just 1 minute of normal time to play Jeremie Aliadiere nicked the winner and left the home side undeservedly with nothing.
This was to be Middlesbrough first away win of the season.
Final score Wigan 0 Middlesbrough 1.
